A new approach to workforce education
Rural America Inc. is committed to advancing human development through employment opportunities, HR management, and workforce education and training.
Our approach
We provide workforce education and training as well as human resources management. By partnering with public and private agencies, RAI assists students with developing their careers. Rural America, Inc. is proud to be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.
We serve our communities’ employment needs with integrity, discipline and investment
RAI assists young adults seeking guidance in postsecondary education: apprenticeships, career & technical education (CTE), higher education or on-the-job training (OJT)
RAI assists displaced workers. These are persons who have lost or left jobs because the plant or company closed, moved, or the position was abolished
RAI assists employees who have retired, but have returned to the workforce to supplement retirement income due to rising costs of living
RAI assists military veterans. Veterans are considered a disadvantaged population because their former professions may not map to the civilian workforce
RAI assists ex-offenders who are reentering the workforce after being incarcerated
RAI assists people experiencing lack of access to computers, transportation, and post-secondary training
The key to our effectiveness?
Train and maintain.
The vast majority of staffing agencies do not offer workforce training. Moreover, workforce training is usually only provided for large industries and is subject to limited federal, state, and private funding. That leaves a large gap for employers and prospective employees alike.
Rural America Inc.’s goal is to train and maintain. While other agencies do not invest in people for long periods of time, we build sustained relationships with the intent of providing a living wage rather than just a minimum wage. Our model is rooted in assessing individuals’ emotional intelligence (EI). Employees receive a personality test, and the results are used to match them with their desired position. In addition, career pathways templates are used to give employees a framework to reach their full potential in a desired field.
